Heart & lung evaluation: such as Electrocardiogram & Spirometry are provided here for assessment of patient presenting with chest pain, cardiac dysrhythmia, shortness of breath, persistent cough & asthma:

Electrocardiogram — EKG or ECG – is to check for signs of heart disease. It’s a test that records the electrical activity of your ticker through small electrode patches that a technician attaches to the skin of your chest, arms, and legs. EKGs are quick, safe, and painless. With this test, your doctor will be able

• To Check your heart rhythm
• See if you have poor blood flow to your heart muscle (this is called ischemia)
• Diagnose a heart attack
• Check on things that are abnormal, such as thickened heart muscle
• Detect if there are significant electrolyte abnormalities, such as high potassium or high or low calcium.

Spirometry is a test that can help diagnose various lung conditions, most commonly asthma, chronic obstructive pulmonary disease (COPD). Spirometry is also used to monitor the severity of some other lung conditions and their response to treatment.

• Ultrasound imaging has many uses in medicine, from confirming and dating a pregnancy to diagnosing certain conditions and guiding doctors through precise Doctors employ ultrasound imaging in diagnosing a wide variety of conditions affecting the organs and soft tissues of the body, including the heart and blood vessels (Vascular Duplex study In neck & extremities), liver, gallbladder, spleen, pancreas, kidneys, bladder, uterus, ovaries, eyes, thyroid, and testicles.
• Ultrasounds do have some diagnostic limitations, however; sound waves do not transmit well through dense bone or parts of the body that may hold air or gas, such as the bowel.
• Ultrasound imaging can help doctors during procedures such as needle biopsies, which require the doctor to remove tissue from a very precise area inside the body for testing in a lab.

X-Ray services:

We provide Chest, Extremities, Spine, abdomen and other X rays at nearby facilities.

The X-Ray studies and the results will be done on the same day or next. If you need some advanced imaging studies such as MRI or CT scan, we will arrange for you to be done within 1-3 days.
