Diagnostic

• In house Lab testing such as Quick strep, FLU test, Urine test, Fecal blood, STD test, Drug Screen and many others.
• Full laboratory Offsite, utilizing Quest Diagnostic, evaluating Blood, urine and tissue pathology. Most laboratory specimens obtained and processed in our office will be sent out on the same day. Most lab results will be available the next day, and some results may be available on the same day as requested.
• Heart & lung evaluation; provided here in house such as Electrocardiogram & Spirometry for assessment of chest pain, cardiac dysrhythmia and shortness of breath, cough & asthma.
• We are equipped with an Automated continuous Cardiac, Pulse oximeter and blood pressure monitor system to manage more serios cases.
• Ultrasound & vascular studies are available in the center on the same or next day; such as Thyroid, Abdomen, Pelvic, Kidney, Vascular Duplex examination of extremities and much more studies.
• X-Ray services; Chest, Extremities, Spine, abdomen and others at nearby facility. The X-Ray studies and the results will be on the same day or next. If you need some advanced imaging studies such as MRI or CT scan, we will arrange for you to be done within 1-3 days.
• PPD (Skin test for Tuberculosis) Screening test for respiratory TB, that is a requirement for many jobs and educational institutions.
• A positive PPD test requires further evaluation by chest X-Ray and or specific blood test.
• If a patient has received BCG Vaccine, a customary vaccination in many overseas countries, will carry a positive PPD test for life.
• Having a normal chest X-ray indicates the patient does not have a communicable state. People who are born and live in the USA do not receive BCG vaccine, therefore must have a negative TB Test throughout their life. If the test becomes positive indicates either they have been exposed to a patient with tuberculosis or having an active disease and must be treated. Payment & Registration Policy:

For new patients it is necessary for us to obtain registration & insurance information.

• If you are a walk-in as an urgent care patient and first visitor, you may call in advance informing our staff about your insurance information. This will reduce unnecessary delay in services you need at urgent care.
• If you walk in without prior notification, you will be seen and serviced as soon as the staff is able to verify the insurance eligibility & benefits.
• If you arrive after 5 PM or on holidays & weekends, we may not be able to reach your insurance to verify eligibility & benefit. In this case we may request $125.00 payment as our standard urgent care fee.
• If your insurance verification denies the coverage, you may request to be serviced as a cash.
• At the time of appointment being scheduled, the receptionist will obtain minimal required information on the phone to facilitate patient’ visit.
• All new Patients, we recommend the patient to arrive 15 minutes earlier prior to scheduled visit so we can complete all registration paperwork.
• We accept all Medicare, most PPOs and certain HMOs & of course CASH
• It is our policy to collect in advance payment for any potential uncovered insurance benefits and co-pays prior service is rendered.
